When specifying a bag it is usual to use the following convention:
Gauge x Width x Length + Flap Length & Type
For instance:
30mic x 167 x 230 + 30mm s/s flap
In this example:
The gauge is 30micron, this is the thickness of the film.
The width of the bag is 167mm.
The length (height) of the bag is 230mm.
The length of the flap is 30mm.
The flap has self-seal (s/s) tape. Sometimes referred to as Seal/Re-seal tape.
